How many devices can be connected to a hub at the same time?
If you have a MacBook, you may be limited by 2 or 4 USB Type-C ports. However, most of us are still used to having multiple devices with different access types, including SD card, HDMI, headphone jack and even VGA port. In this case, you will most likely end up using many adapters or one adapter, but you are still looking for additional ports such as HDMI or headphone jack or more USB ports.
I think you landed on the right place! Alxum 12-in-1 Type C Hub is made of aluminum, and its surface is similar to the aluminum in Apple computers, with better aesthetics. Its dimensions are a bit larger than you expect, and the length is about 27 cm (10'63 inches). The hub is most suitable to be fixed in a fixed position for ease of use and use. If you are using a monitor/laptop, it will fit nicely under the monitor/laptop.
It connects to your computer via a USB Type-C port, in fact, you will replace a Type-C port with 12 ports without even losing Type-C!
Feature:
While the hub can support up to 4K displays, it also supports up to 3 monitors, including VGA ports. During the test, I did not see fluctuations or glitches when I used the hub for all regular work throughout the day, including accessing video files from it and editing them "In-place" in Final Cut Pro and of course, having all of my USB peripheral The device and a 1080p HDMI monitor connected to it.
The type-C USB port, also known as PD 3.0, can provide data transfer speeds up to 5Gbps, and it can charge laptops with a 100W (20V 5A) charging power supply. Although if you have a MacBook, you are likely to use the existing type-C port to charge the laptop and sue the Type-C on the hub for data transmission.
Most importantly, it is equipped with a 3.5 mm headphone jack and microphone input slot. Great for connecting external speakers or non-USB microphones to podcasts and making the most of non-Bluetooth headsets!
Finally, it contains 2 USB 3.0 and 3 USB 2.0 for connecting peripherals, USB memory sticks, external storage devices as well as SD card slot and Micro SD card for transferring photos from the camera. Along with all this, it brings back the "semi-old" 1000M Ethernet port, which can provide you with internet speeds up to 1Gbit/s. In addition, this port is also compatible with 10 and 100Mbps backends.
Alxum 12-in-1 USB C Hub is very useful for working at home. It provides 12 ports for you to use, so compared to using multiple adapters for different purposes, it can only make your daily work easier.
