Microsoft releases an AR game for Pokemon Go: Minecraft Earth
Pokemon Go has changed the way people think about mobile games. It cleverly uses augmented reality technology to superimpose monsters generated by AR augmented reality into the real world. Now Minecraft wants to change our view of AR. I For better performance, I bet you need a usb 3.0 extension cable like this, say goodbye to the short cable!
Microsoft announced the latest game in Minecraft on Friday. The free game called Minecraft Earth uses a similar idea to the popular mobile game Pokemon Go in 2016, which will be available on Apple and Android devices later this year.

The game how to work: the player uses his own feet to put the phone in front of him and explore the neighborhood. When the player walks around, you may see an animal, monster or landmark on the screen, just like Pokemon Go, the game world will be covered in the real world.

Augmented Reality This technology is becoming more popular among technology companies as a way to make their applications more interesting and potentially reshape the way we use devices in the future. Currently, augmented reality technology is most commonly used in image social apps such as Instagram and Snapchat, but AR is also driving related head-ends, such as Microsoft's Hololens2, MagicLeap, and Apple's unannounced AR head-up.

Minecraft Earth can represent the next era of Minecraft. For a decade, games have allowed players to build the world and explore it. Now, Minecraft Earth brings this world to our own world. This does not mean that Minecraft Earth has no competitors. On the contrary, the game will face a lot of competition, including Pokemon Go developer Niantic's next work, Harry Potter: The Wizards, which will be available later this year.
That doesn't mean Minecraft Earth is a guaranteed hit. Quite the opposite: The game will be up against a lot of competition, including Pokemon Go-creator Niantic's next big title, Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, due later this year.
Microsoft thinks it has a winning formula though, and a different take that'll feel familiar enough to entice people to play.
"The way we think about this game is that everywhere I look, I can see Minecraft," Stephen McHugh, business director for Minecraft, said while discussing the game with journalists. "It brings Minecraft into your real life."
