NOTE:
Please safely remove the external SSD to avoid data loss, corruption, or damage to your console or SSD.
How to safely remove the external SSD on PS5:
1) Go to Settings > Storage.
2) Select USB Extended Storage > Safely Remove from PS5.
3) Disconnect the USB extended storage drive from your PS5 console.

How to Install M.2 SSD:
1. Slide the top cover of the M.2 enclosure to the left and remove the top cover.
2. Insert the M.2 SSD diagonally down into the PCIe / NVMe slot and gently press down on the M.2 SSD and hold it in place with rubber.
3. Attach the silicone pad and heat sink to the M.2 SSD.
4. Put the top cover on the M.2 enclosure, press the top cover and slide it to the right to snap it in place, installation completed.
